Our Story
BloomCC was founded by Rocio Quezada, originally from Chile and now deeply connected to Aotearoa New Zealand. As a migrant herself, Rocio understands first-hand the challenges of leaving one’s home behind and starting anew. This lived experience has enriched her knowledge and deepened her empathy for others navigating similar journeys.
Over her years of living and working in New Zealand, Rocio has observed the growing need for accessible, compassionate counselling and coaching services across diverse communities. With a strong background in Psychology, psychological Assessments, Educational Interventions, and Professional Training for educators and community agents. Experienced in Social Interventions, Executive and Team Coaching, and supporting individuals in the Neurodiverse community. Actively engaged in voluntary work with NGOs and committed to promoting Cultural Competence, she brings both professional expertise and cultural sensitivity to her practice.
Rocio is a Registered Professional with the New Zealand Association of Counsellors (NZAC) and an expert in children’s development, while also working extensively with young people, adults, couples, organisations, and migrant communities.
Her vision for BloomCC is to create a safe, inclusive, and supportive space where individuals and groups can find guidance, growth, and empowerment—nurturing wellbeing and resilience at every stage of life.
